Welcome to WRITE ON School for Young Writers
We are a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1993 and based in Christchurch, New Zealand, offering tuition and mentorship to young writers anywhere in the world. We also publish WRITE ON Magazine, full of writing by New Zealand's talented young writers.

Writing gives young people a voice!
We offered young New Zealand writers the opportunity to give a voice to their thoughts and ideas about Lockdown 2020.
Then, in 2022, we gathered Voices for the Planet.
In 2023 we visited Voices from the Past (ex-students) and the Present.
In 2024 we hear from Fresh Voices.
Voice recording is supported by Plains FM 96.9.
